Just a short distance from Harewood House and offering magnificent views of the Wharf Valley, Chapter One opened its doors in June 2008.

Chef / Owner Steve Collinson brings with him years of experience gained at prestigious hotels such as Oulton Hall - where as Executive Chef he gained 2 AA Rosettes, the Chester Grosvenor and The Dorchester.

Chapter One offers a range of dining experiences from a comprehensive Bar Menu, weekly Market Menu to fine dining A La Carte. Not to mention a Traditional Sunday Lunch with either 2 or 3 course options available.

Even our younger guests are catered for to the highest standard. Our children's menu was written by Nathan, Steve's son aged 11 years and will suit even the most discerning of pallets.

The food is modern British in style, working closely with local suppliers with quality at the forefront of everything we do. An extensive wine list offers something for everyone. Whether your taste is unoaked or you prefer bubbles! We also offer 10 wines and champagnes by the glass if a bottle is too much.
